Sekisui House Group Diversity and Inclusion Promotion
We will strive to be the world’s happiest company where all of our employees can feel a sense of satisfaction and happiness and grow together with our company.
The Sekisui House Group has declared “making home the happiest place in the world” as its global vision, and as one of the goals toward the realization of that vision, we seek to become a leading company in ESG management.
In order to achieve this goal, in June 2020 we established a new “ESG Management Promotion Headquarters,”and lay out three material issues such as high-quality housing stock, contributing to a sustainable society, and diversity and inclusion.
Diversity-related issues are positioned as one of the three material issues. We are pursuing initiatives based on our diversity and inclusion promotion policy, which has as its pillars “promoting the active participation of women,” “active participation of diverse personnel,” and “promoting diverse workstyles.” By employees with various individual identities, including women, the disabled, the elderly, foreigners, LGBTQ people, and so on, mutually recognizing each other’s individual identities and turning these into advantages, we are seeking to build an organization where each and every one of these people can use their strengths to the maximum extent. Aiming to be the world’s happiest company where all employees can feel a sense of satisfaction and happiness in their lives while realizing sustainable growth together with the company, we will continue to promote diversity and inclusion.
